the boot brace goes at the very back of the boot. There are also braces just behind the fuel tank as shown in the pictures.

I don't seem to find the spot where the nuts would bolt onto...

The chassis is the same, maybe they just didn't drill the holes in the spec S.

Yep check for the holes, if it's there then make sure it's threaded too - then it'll be a quick bolt on install :)

Is there any black round stickers in the boot floor? You can aften find threaded holes under them. Found a couple extra holes in my boot which I used to fit my battery :)

I'm also looking to see whether this will work. I lifted a couple of the black stickers (not the black bungs), and there were threaded holes underneath, however, just not had time yet to make sure that they are mirrored on both sides!

If there were a couple of them then I'd imagine they'd all be there. Will have a look later on too

if you cant its a very inexpensive thing to have made i'd imagine, just two pices of drilled flat plate with a bar welded between the two....one thats been made may even be stronger than the nissan item/more rigid....

I have an Spec S and the previous owner fitted all the Spec R braces. Knowing him i bet the car bringed the holes as he was too scare to even put a little bit of glue in the oem shifter knob to hold into the 5 speed tranny. I'll check tho and let you know!

Sorry to revive a super old thread, but better to revive than start a new one, right?

Did anyone get a definitve answer for this? Looking at buying one

Look in the boot, if there are 2 m8 (from memory) threaded holes on the tops of the chassis rails each side then you have the mounting points for the brace, there will also be spare holes around the front area of the wheel well for bracing to look for, there's a chance the unused holes will have a circular sticker covering them. Jdm garage uk should have a full set of spec r braces as they are breaking my old car.
