Hey Guys,

I bought some wheels that I like and the spec is follow

FRONT

17 x 8.5"

Offset is +31mm

REAR

17 x 9"

Offset is +38mm

Can you tell me if these will fit my S15, the suspension I think is still standard. I am worrying about the clearence issues. :(

What size tyre should I run on these?

Thanks

i think the front will stick out a bit if you gonna use 235 tyre and the rear looks ok.
you bought the wheels. just use your emergency tool to try them out if you don't have other tools :D

Here's the recommendations.

From experience, actually try the wheels first if you can.

I've got 18x8.5 front and back with a 32 offset and they are probably a touch too big. The standard 45 offset would have been ideal for them. 235x40x18 front, 255x35x18 rear.

 Thanks, I will try them on first but I think they will be ok too. Just the case that what tyre size should I put on the front. Becasue the rear wheels come with 255 already, but the front doesnt come with any tyre so I might jsu put it on and try it first.

Probably goin for 225 ;)

Should fit.

i've got 8.5" all round. 225/40/18 at the front and 255/35/18 at the rear.

no scrubbing or anything. doesn't hit or anything.

mind you, my car isn't lowered. don't know yet.

What offset? Mine are the same size, but -32 offset. Stick out a little. 235

Coilovers going on tomorrow. That's going to be interesting :p Full alignment on Tuesday...

Will these fit ok?

18's 7.5" wide with 225/40x18tyres and et42

Think they will, although wont look to good, will be right in under the arch, but will they miss the suspension (Coilovers)??

P.s. there for drifting, not to look good.

Jus had a good look at the new wheels and the suspension today, they seem so close together at the front, is that why people have to change their camber setting so the wheels wont catch the suspension??

So what is the side effect of having camber change to adopt the wheels size?

depends on your suspension is it stock? if they are too close you will need to get a small spacer. maybe 5mm... camber adjusts the angle of the wheel, -in, +out

I fitted my coilovers on Friday and have found the front spring shelf very close. I'm keeping an eye on it, but I may get away with it be adjusting the pre-tension slightly. I don't really want to have to add a spacer....

i had to put a 6mm spacer on my fronts, the spring and the tightners were rubbing against the tyre! the teins which i had on there were rubbing for ages and eat huge grooves out of the inside wall...
