I am about to order some wheels...

18x8.5 front, and 18x10 or maybe 9.5 for the rear.

What offsets should I be getting to stand the best chance of fitting?

Cheers

Im running 18x8.5 +32 fronts and 18x9.5 +38 rears and they stick out a tiny little bit.

Can I suggest you read through this thread Ultimate Wheel Fitting Guide, yeah its long but it will teach you alot.

You will have no issue with rear on that offset.

Front are the main issue with strut clearance depending on how low you drop it.

When you say stick out... do they still fit the car ok?

My front arches have been rolles a little, and did use to have 18x8.5s on, so shouldn't be an issue... it's more the rears I was wondering on :)

Cheers!

Nicley had 18x8.5 +32 on the front I believe, I mean about 2mm of the wheel is outside the arch, but they fit the car fine.

I reckon you could get away with 18x10 on the rear with the right offset.

Im sure there are a couple of people on here who run 10 rears, but Id hate to say they will 100% fit and then you get them and they do not

This type of question is well explained in the Ultimate Wheel Fitting Guide that Darren has mentioned above.

Everytime I think up a new setup and then I find out that the wheelsI want dont come in that setup. Somewhere along the line I believe you have to compromise, either with your selection of wheels or the fitment you are after.

IMO:

Fronts: 8" ET28-36 or 8.5" ET30-32
Rears: 9" ET38-40 for a perfect fit without camber or 9.5" ET38 for a bit of neg camber and jobs a good'un.

You will struggle with 10" rears unless you are rolling quite a bit and/or using a couple of deg neg camber.

That ultimate guide has just saved the day :D

I was going to ditch some R34GTR wheels in favour of now Compomotive MOs... but turns out having now seen a picture of a S15 on R34s.... I really like it, so wont be splashing out on the heavier MOs :D

Thanks for the link chaps!

Good luck getting them on! THey wont go on std archs. I looked at the pic your on about too and nearly bought a set off a mate.
But I couldnt even get R33 GTR wheels on the S15 without it looking illegal :wack: (and that was with camber!)

I had to ditch all my wheels from the S14 as none of them would go on :wack:

The front arches haven't been rolled. The 18x8.5 +32s didn't tuck in, hence why the front wasn't lowered more. I tried, but the arches started scoring a line into the tyres...

I'd be surprised if you don't have problems - especially with a decent drop AND correct alignment.
