uk number plate sizes

whats the usual plate size for a rear s15 plate. want a nice neat tidy fitting size. also best size for the front thats a bit smaller than usual

Rear size is 330 x 165mm with 60mm import letters.

Front is 330 x ? Depending on how you want it laid out.

I keep thinking about getting a front plate made up that is the same size as the square bit that sticks out on the front bumper.

It would be tiny but would look good!

My front plate is like that, but my lettering is bigger, maybe because I only have 6 not 7. Rear plate is standard import size

It took me a while to find someone on line that had the exact size

You need to be careful what you get as if the lettering isn't the correct size it's illegal. Buy your plates from Craig's Plates as they have a full layout of their website for what's legal and all the sizes you're allowed.

This is my front plate...

And this is the rear. I think it was 14x7 but I can't remember off the top of my head...
