Thermostat gasket

What sort of gasket do you put after you change the thermostat?

Normal red exhaust paste won't work will it?

Do I need some sort of silicon type?

if its like most other cars thermostat housings (havent got my car at the moment so cant check), you have to re-apply your own sealant. if so then try some of this stuff http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m1b0s1295p4290,
it comes highly recommended on other forums for sealing sumps, cam carriers, water pumps and thermostats etc.:thumbs:
