Steering wheel refurb

I'm looking to get my suede Nardi steering wheel refurbed as it is looking a bit worse for wear after a few years of use.

Has anyone had their stock or aftermarket wheel refurbed? and if so by whom?

I've had a quote from Royal Steering wheels for £135 + postage but just seeing if anyone has any recommendations.

did you try giving it a good wash/scrub really with soapy water? made a nice improvement to my suede wheel.

I haven't as i think mine may be too worn to bring back to life. I might give a go though and see if it helps.
