So, after three months of searching with the help of torque GT, I have finally won an auction and the process of my Silvia coming to England has started!

Don't get me worried! its a completely bog standard R with xenon's.
Trying to source aero skirts and spats in japan to make it perfect! Hoping to get the decent pictures tomorrow!

Mine took awhile as my auction just missed one boat, then it fell over Christmas 2011 so got delayed. There is at least one or two boats every month though.

I used Torque GT and found them to be brilliant there cars are all good quality and they've got access to lots of online auctions with reliable people in Japan checking the cars over

Yeah, using Torque GT, good experiences so far, Darren seems like a nice guy, and all the reviews I have seen reflect this also.

Decent pictures arrived of my unmolested S15! aero skirts and spats are also being sourced for it! just waiting on skirts at the moment.

jealous of you guys over there...Here in New Zealand, you can't import these cars in any more. unless they are 20 years older..

I thought New Zealand had very lax importing rules?

Update:
Just got my ETA, 7th of may, just missed the last boat so have to wait for one that leaves on the 12th of march!
Japan really is a long way away! The skirts and spats have been sourced and are being shipped with it.
So hopefully should be driving it by the 18th of May!

In other news I have been reading that S bodies are really lively, and I am scared to the core that I will crash it, even though I'm not a particularly fast driver!

they are tail happy but just respect it mate and it will be fine.

ive had fast cars fwd and 4wd (my EVO was a little tail happy) this is so different to drive.is tail happy but I've just been going easy .

Yeah!
First thing I plan on doing is lowering it, then getting some white rota grids, then performance mods from there on!
I'll just drive like a granny everywhere so it stays safe!

i wanted one but this came along and it was too good to miss! Cleaned it today as i used it a little and it was a little dirty and my god I'm in :smitten:.
