Sidelight fuse question.

I jumped in the car last night to pop out. started her up, turned on the lights….

HIDs came on, nothing else. No rear lights, no front sidelights, dial cluster, heater controls. Nothing.

Question is, are the interior lights linked to the sidelight in respect of the fuse.

I haven’t checked the fusebox yet as it was dark and I couldn’t be bothered as it was raining.

I’m hoping it’s just a popped fuse, but if they are on different relays, then it may be something else.

If it helps with diagnosis, I had a new alarm fitted last Thursday and this is the first time ive tried using it at night, so could be something the alarm installer done. :annoyed:

Any suggestions boys?

Check the 10A 'tail light' fuse under the bonnet. The diagrams are here.

ive already got that printed off and in my pocket mate.

im hoping that they have just blown. ill find out tonight.

if not, mr alarm fitter is coming round to fix his mistake!

If it blown (likely) and goes again straight away then, yes, it the alarm fitment.
