Hey guys working on my s15’s shifter bushing replacing it with a solid bush when i pulled out my shifter a black plastic plate came out and i have no idea what it is and where it goes any help would be good thanks?

It doesn't look familiar to me however have you tried to look at the workshop manual in our downloads section? It will have the full assembly in there
