how easy is it to get hold of parts for servicing the s15 eg. oil filter brake pads/discs etc. are these parts direct swap from the s14???

yepp. same parts.
why get stock discs and pads when you can get better aftermarket stuff for roughly the same price?

getting parts is pretty easy with the S15.
I order most stuff from japan as the delivery is fast and prices are good.

if you become a contributing member you get access to Nissan FAST parts database with almost all the parts numbers for the S15. You can then look up what you need and send an enquire to a japanese copany of choice for pricing.

This is how I do it most of the times.
