Hey guys (and gals) I know there is never an exact answer to the price, but i just wanted to note peoples experiences. I have a pearl white one, and wanted to know how hard it is to match the paint, and if it comes to it, how much for a full resparay back to original colour???
I noticed that sushiming had some paint work done on his and it looked flawless from the posted pics!
Also any one know any decent sprayers? Thanxs for any info you lot provide

The Pearl colour would be expensive to do and match as Nicely said.

I had my previous car (not an S15) reprayed, cost me ?700, it was a metalic colour, which wasnt bad i thought and they made an excelent job of it.

What is your original colour??

The original colour is Pearl White! Its just im looking at taking the rear spoiler off and delocking the boot, and having the side skirts de scuffed and moulded onto the car, plus 'maybe' a front and rear bumper. Its just if its a pain to match the colour, id sooner have the whole thing sprayed rather than just parts, so the paint is even all over.
I cant stand dodgy paint jobs, even if they look OK, i want it to be perfect!

mine wasnt too bad but it would be much better if u have thw whole car done mine very close but if u look closely even thew stock colour isnt perfect cuz the bumpers are plastic after all and it will be little bit different but what they do is a under coat then white paint then the pearl then white again i think thats what the bodyshop told me when he did mine...
are u planing to get it done where u live or anywhere??

Well i live in plymouth, so im quite close to Konceptz. (www.konceptz.co.uk). Best known for there orange fto that appears at most shows in th UK. I spoke to them, earlier and they are getting back to me after they have located the paint. But I have a feeling from the snobby sounding dude on the phone, there gunna try and charge an extoritionate price!

White pearl is the most difficult to match I'm afraid. :(

well I think yellow is the most difficult one.
Especially any yellow pearl for example, S2000
but Even just flat yellow is the most difficult out of any factory lines since it makes lots of different cyon colour
that's what most panel beaters say and they tend to avoid yellow job. (if it doesn't turn out good then they you know..)
for white colour with pearl, any well known panel beater should be able to do good. they should have at least painting room with oven.
just have a look around and go somewhere a bit more expensive if you want good job and have their gurantee of near same colour.

I went to have a look at there shop. Looks well pro! They specialise in full resparays. Had alook at some of the paints they use.... may consider going for a complete colour change, so tempting... I know it wont make the car go faster or perform any better, but sweet lordy would it look cool! Still waiting for a price from them thou....
They do a proper job, they dont mask stuff (Apart from the obvious!) they remove windows, most interior, engine, boot interior...
Just gotta wait for the price sting!

You must be confused with the :ghey: Scooby blue  :p

Brilliant Blue actually looks nothing like it does in photos. Photos hardly ever do it justice. Ask others if you don't believe me... :)

I really like the nissan blue, i was looking at a blue one form torque imports, but ive always wanted something in JDM pearl white! which is why i wouldnt mind keeping the white pearl that its in, but if its a pain to match, i dont wanna pay and not get it back looking the same if you know wot i mean.
I especially like C-reds blue S15...
