Can anyone tell me how to reomve and re-install the rubber trim that sits on the top of the door that shims the door glass properly and runs underneath the mirror. I know the mirror has to come off but how do you remove it as I am painting my car and want a thorough job and want to be able to fit it back without problems.

Mirror doesnt have to come off at all. Theres 1 phillips screw on the indide of the door that attaches the trim to the door. Undo that, pull the whole trim up a bit, then pull it from under the mirror and admire the freshly revealed dirt! Open the window fully first though, makes it a bit easier.
