Just looks as though he's bypassing the idle control valve or allowing it to flow more air in at idle... Can't translate though. I too would be interested to know why...

quick question guys what rpm does your s15 idle at? mine is around 850-900 and id like it abit lower but the IACV screw is maxed out.
i know putting a restrictor in the 10mm vacuum hose will drop it.
what hes saying is that the engine isnt running smooth due to low idle after the tune. Even after fully opening the AAC valve (to increase idle), the engine revs arent high enough. Therefore, he slightly widened the hole to fix the problem.
