oil pressure reading for s15

dear guys,

Just wondering what is the normal oil pressure reading for s15?

mine is:
after engine had warm up(oil temp 80deg) = 200 - 225 kpa / 2.25 bar at 800 to 900 rpm idling.

Is this consider normal?

** im using defi oil press meter

That's about right I've got Defis too and get about around 175 KPa/1.75 bar at warm idle.

I get about 1.5-1.75 Bar with 5W40 oil when the car is properly heated 80-90 degrees C.
Set my warning to about 1.25 bar.

Using a greddy warning meter.

That's so true. I glanze at my gauges like every 5 or 10 minutes just to be sure

But they can be a engine-saver.
My oil-pressure gauge probobly saved my engine when my oil-filter decided to make a run for it in the garage last year.

I prefer to have a oil-temp gauge just to know when I can floor it and on track, when to ease off the throttle.

But I definetly see what you mean.
If my oil-pressure gets to 1.45Bar on idle after a quick blast on the highway, I get all paranoid and confused :wack:
