no MAF sensor

i bought a 2001 s15 spec r.
but there is no MAF sensor?
anyone knows if there are some cars without MAF sensor?

Sometimes people get rid of it when they remap and use a map sensor instead ie apexi d jetro

If no MAF sensor mate you got an uprated ECU most likely running MAP sensor. Have a look down on the passenger side foot well behind the left panel will have an aftermarket make most likely APEXI though they normally have a controller or a connector to plug a laptop in.

If you need to remove it to check make sure you disconnect the battery before taking it out of the holder and unplugging it.

there is a Tomei reytec Ecu.
now i going buy the interface kit to check the ecu with my laptop.

reytec, could be wrong but they normally are a stock ecu with a daughter board setup, to match a tomei cam, and cam gear, take your rocker cover off and see if your cams have TOMEI on them, if yes then hell year

Look for non nissan looking bits on your intake manifold, for the MAP sensor, most reytec ecu setups use them.
