Need advice on oil

Hi there, I need help with oil. Can someone please tell me what grade engine oil i need aswell as gearbox oil and diff oil for my s15 (SR20DET) Silvia. I want good stuff NOT cheep crap!! :thumbs:

The oil grades and quantitys will be in the useful threads and service manual and which you can download from this forum. I use the following..

Engine - Silkoline Pro S - 5w-40
Gearbox - Redline Lightweight Shockproof - 70w-90
Diff - Redline Heavyweight Shockproof - 75w-140

The Redline oils are strange because they flow like a lower viscosity oil but protect like a higher viscosity. Strange, but it is good stuff.

these oils should work perfectly for standard or modified - i'm using all the same except for silkolene BOA 90ls diff oil

10 - 50 engine oils fine as well and ideal if your interested on driving it harder. But 5 - 40 fine for the road.
