Well folks...
It's been a looong ass Friday (and night lol). The past month has seen quite a few changes to the ol' Silvia First major news is that I've been lucky enough to secure a year's sponsorship deal for the S15 with a local company called easyrepair who have injected cash into my tuning project - in return I get to plaster their logo on my car and whilst at it, I though about getting the 'full works' hehe. So here she is... the easyrepair S15 Silvia - ready for track and drift action woop!!
The recent chapter begins with an A'PEXi induction filter - until I get rid of heat-soak in the engine bay there's not much of an advantage having this over the panel filter but the sucking and jet engine noise is back haha Next came the Driftworks 3D carbon-fibre BGW which I know is not everyone's cup of tea but it's in my plans so it stays... for now Then came the eagerly awaited Yashio Factory rear LED light units (smoked) ordered via RHDJapan. Also in the same order from Japan was a Defi BF 60mm boost gauge to compliment the Defi display unit I had installed a while back.
Also recently ordered is an Apex Performance Type 2 FMIC, Gizzmo MS-IBC boost controller (highly recommended by Driftworks who use it in their R32) and a Walbro 255 fuel pump - all yet to be fitted There's been a few late nights on my own with the LED lamp under the hood working on the car so it was time to get other people involved working on the Silvia lol...
Starting with Friday afternoon at 1.30pm - dropped the car off at local tint and graphics outfit and helped Rob put all the sponsor decals onto the motor:
New sun visor with LuPix advertising (LuPix Photography is my pro photography business)...
Rob measuring to get everything lined up correctly...
Mario 1UP FTW!!!
Nearly done...
