Thought I'd share a few pics of my S15 as I've just got it running & ready to go.
Bought it as a rolling shell from a guy who was planning a V8 swap which unfortunately left the wiring loom looking like this
I already had an S14A with relatively standard and a bit rusty bodywork but a well sorted chassis & low mileage engine with a decent spec.
So between the two I came up with this.
Looks a little rough still but I'm mainly going to be using it for drift & track work at the minute but will hopefully get round to painting it in the next month or two.
Current spec looks like this
Engine:
Stock SR from S14A using genuine full spec-R loom & 15 coilpacks
garrett GTX2867R
unknown manifold that came from an ex-works9 demo car that I wrote off
740 injectors
Z32 maf
Nismo fuel pump & FPR
Nistune ecu (from S14 with nats removed) mapped by jez @ H-dev
Gizzmo boost controller
chassis:
Driftworks CS2 coilovers
Everything solid mounted
Adjustable DW arms all round
modified front hubs
extended front arms (+20mm)
Bodywork:
D-max kit with wide front wings & rear overfenders
FRP bootlid
50/50 rear lights
Taking it to Anglesey for drift matsuri in a couple of weeks then after that I'll probably tidy the bodywork up & then maybe put it on the road next year? Until then I'll have to make do with the daily on the road.
