Hi All,
I've had the s15 for a few years. It's actually been dormant in the garage for about a year or so. One lazy sunday afternoon, I decided to fix it & rebuild. Almost done.
Why did I take it off the road? Some asshole backed into me in a parking lot & smashed up the side of the car. It still drove fine, but I couldn't bear to look at it and couldnt afford the panel job (harlequin paint...):rotfl: I've since carefully beaten out most of the panel damage without cracking the paint (phew) and its not very noticeable now.
So while doing this i decided to slowly strip & replace bits & peices. Sold off the factory turbo & the headlights (faded).
Replaced so far:
Factory with Kunagawa TD06H-20G (420HP) -- will let you know how it goes..
Megan racing Manifold
Megan racing flexi dump pipe
Walbro 255 fuel pump
HD clutch replacement (factory was a little slippy)
Apexi Intake
Apexi cold air intake compartment
Blitz standard BOV
stripped & High temp heat sprayed exhaust, to rust proof
Dual core radiator & hoses
Davies Craig 12" electric fan replacement (wooosh)
Earls braided turbo oil & coolant lines
Brand new factory headlights
Factory alternator (warning light..)
New 02 sensor
Here's some pics of how it stands without the fans, piping, .. yeah it's still a mess. Another week of work and I hope the thing starts.
