Do S15 owners not convert travel from km to miles as I always see people quote km done rather than miles when selling S15's, strange... might be just me

It's mainly because this is a global forum and the only countries which still use miles are the UK and USA... In those two countries, most people fit a mph converter to their combo meter.

if the cars been in the uk then anyone selling should state the total sum of the original mileage in km and the actual miles traveled since import/conversion. thats why an s15's odo rarely shows the true mileage of the car

Unless it was properly converted, of course. In which case the odo shows the total including converted km (mine had this).

You need to get it done by a specialist.

It's easily done by someone with the right kit. Hence why it is so easy to clock these cars (especially on import) when theres no documents to back it up.

mine had also a mph-converter installed, it was removed when I bought it, but the speedo is still showing mph :O
