Has anyone successfully powered their door windows manually. That is like taking a battery and connecting it via two wires to the connector and sending the window up or down? Reason I ask is that I am doing some work on my car and I would really like to send both windows up as I don't want elements to get into the interior. The car is currently scrapped and all the door upholstery is out but I can reconnect the switch but wiring-wise the fusebox is in bits and what not hence the reason for a manual process.

yeah it works you can raise the windows up manually just connect the 12v power to the right ends of the motor..
i've done it before but i can't tell you which connections... been a very long time.. you might have too look at it and trace back correct connections.
