Yesterday I made Deacon from SXOC look like this:

Mainly because this morning his very tidy Honda Integra Type-R looked like this, the paint was VERY flat, dull looking and had faded to a very off white:

So the car was cleaned, clayed, treated to paint correction and lastly protected for winter, giving Deacon a very shiny car and a smiley face

Jem, you seem to be a man who knows a thing or two about paint. I'm looking at getting my car resprayed the same colour to get rid of the atonechips and dcar park dings its picked up over the last 10+ years. Have you any experiance with body shops, any you would recommend. Thanks.

Thanks. Will there be any benefit in getting the car detailed after paint work?

Generally yes, very rarely do bodyshops finish the paint to the very high level a detailer will, they just don't have the time. Also a detailer will apply a high quality wax/sealent to protect the paint.
