Just after a general idea of what you guys done after you fitted a FMIC.
I have an aero front bumper which used to have to stock fog lights but i've had to ditch them as they obstructed the intercooler piping.
I'm not bothered about that but i don't like having gaping holes there with the water bottle etc on show.

Was thinking about cutting away all the remaining plastic that used to hold the fog lights there and cutting a bit more off the bottom part of the bumper to make it more square, then getting some black mesh stuff to cover the hole over

What did you guys do?
And where should i get mesh-halfrauds?

It depends on your intercooler kit as to whether you can keep the fogs and grill. Which brand is your kit??

Its an Apex type 1- one that goes through the battery tray.

Made my mind up now that i don't want to keep the foggies. Theres about 2 or 3 nights a year where i could justify there use :wack:

I did what you said, cut away all of the fog light brackets and put black mesh in! I also painted the washer bottle black and kept the black plastic in the other side

That looks good

Never thought about painting the water bottle. What kind of paint did you use?

Got a tin of black Hamerite knocking around- reckon that'd do?

Oh yeah; have any of you guys put mesh infront of your intercooler? My dad mentioned that a stone could whack it and put a hole in the thing and said i should mesh that hole too- but tbh i ain't that convinced lol

Yeah gotta say nothing to worry about - I've been behind all sorts of crap flying my way... try DWYB when you're 3rd gear drifting behind someone who's going over all the crap on the edge lol :D

Worse I've got is a tiny dent on the oil cooler fin and also one on the FMIC but it's hardly noticeable ;)
