Gearbox oil

I've got a box for the S15 and will hopefully have it fitted by next week.:nod: Just wondering which gearbox oil you would recommend using in the box as I've heard certain oils leave the box very noisy. Also what amount of oil do I need to get for the box?

2 litre for the box

I'm using motul gear300 on it at the moment. Cold shifts are way better after the oil change.

Have heard good results from those using redline shockproof gear oil as well

Oil choice is down to you. Personally, I'd go for Redline Shockproof Lightweight.

yup thats what ive got in mine shockproof if i rememeber correctly its heavy for the diff and light for the gear box
