gauge power

sup guys,

1. is it safe to power 2 gauges through the headunit power?
2. most gauges come with 3 wires=ground/light/power, now can i run the light & power for each gauge through the headunit power?
3. like crimp it instead of soldiering it cause don't know how to solder it?
if so, pictures would be nice or which colour wire to crimp onto?

i want them coming on when my headunit turns on.
these gauges are the blackd/mirrord ones if off then the dails appear when on.think these are mechanical.boost one has wires & vacc hose.
they're not defi..and they don't need a control unit.

4. by the way if i don't use the factory boost gauge anymore, can i take off the boost pressure sensor from the engine bay out?

I wouldn't have thought the current would make much difference if you took it from that wire. Some people have their Defi control units off it, so it can't be too bad. Not sure which wire it is.

The JDM boost gauge is an independent circuit, so your can take the sensor out. You might find it a ball ache to take the wiring out though.
