Garrett turbo. Oil restrictor or not? Spec-R JDM version

Hello.

I just bought a new garrett gt2871r.
I wounder if you guys with the jdm ball bearing stock turbos are fitting an oil restrictor or not when upgrade?

I didn't, if you look remove and look closely at the stock oil banjo bolt on the block it has a tiny hole in it, smaller hole than the 'restrictor' banjo bolt I bought from Driftworks. At first glance I didn't realise the stock bolt hole narrowed down hence buying the DW bolt, I reused stock bolt, no issues so far.

Garrett ballbearing cores have an inbuilt restictor. Some people insist they don't, which is why I keep one to hand at work to show them it does, if questioned!

As said, inbuilt restrictors. I had bought a DW restrictor before receiving my GT2871R so I put it in the oil line anyway. Makes no difference ��

Thanks for the reply, I noticed a restrictor in the oil-line at the block, aswell did see the inbuilt.
