Alright guys. I need some quick answers. I have installed my oil gauges in the the center vents. But It didn´t goo as deep as I have seen on you guys pictures.

I have used the part with the clips on. But still it wont go in.

This is how it looks right now.

What did we do wrong?

You didn't push hard enough. Yes, its that simple.

We did´t get it too slide any deeper in the "holder".Is there anything that we should remove from it or what?

Mine did exactly the same when I first fit them. You literally have to push them into the holders harder. If necessary, remove the holders to push them in.

Do I need too push for king and country?

Is there anything on the inside that needs too be removed?

Yes, you need to force them in quite hard. No, if you've got them that far, they will go in fully.

A little update on the gauges question.
We did push them harder today. And they went a bit deeper. But I need too buy new wents. One of them is lose. It dosn´t have any clips on it.
Will goo by my local Nissan dealer tomorrow and see how mutch it costs.

Just a quickie, is it easy to remove the vent covers, I've tried easing mine out but they're not budging and I don't wish to break them. Is there a nack?

There is a how to guide in the useful threads section. But all the pics have gone awall unfortunaly.

The S15 vents looks pretty much identical to the 350Z door vents.
Expect to pay lots of dough for them from Nissan.

i had the same problemo , i put a bit of mouth vasaline in the holder and pusht the bastard to death . make sure you put the gauge in straight coz they wont come out again
