2000 Fiat Punto ELX 1.9 JTD [AC]
I've owned my Punto for nearly 3 years now and have used it for my weekly long-distance commute to work. It returns between 55-65MPG depending on driving style.
The 1.9 JTD engine is very strong, starting and driving perfectly. It's a fairly detuned engine, producing just 85bhp from the 1.9 turbo diesel lump, but will remap to 120bhp with ease if desired. It has plenty of torque and is great on the motorway. The 5-speed manual gearbox is in perfect working condition too, and cruses at 2000rpm @ 70mph.
The mileage is bang on average for the age of the car - 137,000miles. It has been serviced annually with intermediate oil changes. Since buying the car I have serviced it myself (full service every year and oil 6 monthly) and I have kept the service book up to date.
This is a very clean and tidy car for its age. The interior is pretty much spotless and it's served me extremely well over the last 3 years but I just want something bigger now.

The paint has chipped away from the bottom of the wheel arches but as the body is galvanised, it has just got a mild brown tinge of surface rust! The passenger door lock needs cleaning/lubricating as sometimes it wont lock with the central locking (have to lock the car from that door).
Price - £800
(If you don't want the wheels, I will swap them for some original steel's and knock £100 off the price)
