evo 8 recaros in s15

hi, i bought a set of recaro seats from an evo 8. i made some modifications to the rails and fitted them to my s15.
the problem i have is head and leg to steering wheel clearance. i am about 1.73m and i almost hit the roof. also my left leg hits the steering wheel every time i shift. (steering wheel is as up as it can go)
are there any aftermarket rails that are a straight swap and lower?

This thread relates to Integra Recaros, but I expect the same applies. You're never going to get a set of saloon car seats straight into a low slung sports car without a change of rails... :no:

Hope you're prepared to spend. Those Recaro rails were £130 each four years ago... The only other alternative is some custom made rails.

iv got dc2 recaros in my s15 with custom rails seating position is perfect altho wen i
close my door it kinda hits against it.but not by much

mine also hit the door a bit but nothing serious.
what rails did you took and modified?
