dmax bonnets

hi guys members with dmax bonnet have problems with rain leaking through vents? or does vented bonnets cause any problems? as i am looking to buy a fibreglass one and spraying it black for my blue s15 thanks in advanced

I have one I got from Japspeed off their v8 S15 it has the back 2 vents cut away from it aswell but I was planning on putting a sort of thin perspex sheet sheet under it though its just going to collect rain but cant see it really doing much damage aslong as your engine wiring is nice and sealed

"In WA I was under the impression its legal to have a vented bonnet such that the vents dont open towards the wind screen in the case of an oil spurt or leak which would then spray onto the window."

can anyone confirm this?
