Anyone else who owns the D-Max 50/50 rear lights, are yours a bit on the dim side?

A mate was behind me today (daylight) and he said he could barely see the brake lights...? Not ideal if that's how they are..!

are they LED's? If they are normal globes, check to make sure you have to correct globes in there.

Maybe there is a problem with the circuit board. Check for any loose earths and have a close look at the connections to the light.

They're brand new, the oe lights were fine. Checked connections / wiring and they all seem to be good. Both sides are the same, maybe the led's are just a bit crap!

images didn't work. If they are brand new, try plugging in one of your old lights for a comparison.

Finally, here's some pics.

First one is lights on, second is brake lights. Not in full daylight either.

Someone else should post up if theirs are dim also, it'd be nice to compare.

Looks like a wiring issue. How are they connected to the existing loom? Could you show me a pic.

They have male connectors that plug straight in to the bulb holder on the original loom. Don't see how they could both be equally as dim unless its further into the loom, but then the oe lights were right as rain...
