Craig asked me to detail this beautiful S15 today, ready for Japfest tomorrow. Craig keeps his car in immaculate condition, and I mean immaculate! So the paint was already in good condition, so refining the finish was the order of the day, to get the best possible reflections.
The car was firstly snowfoamed:
After a two bucket wash, wheels cleaned, engine bay cleaned and the paint clay bared to remove bonded contaminants the car was into the garage for the polishing. Paint readings on the bonnet were good:
But the paint on the wings was on the thin side, so not a lot to play with:
Careful selection of polish and pad combination ensured less than 2.5 microns were removed:
After waxing, dressing and exhaust polishing, the car was taken out into the sun
