boss kits

can a s14 boss kit go on a s15? i understand that it wont have airbag bipass function (airbag light goes off) but i dont mind if the light stays on, so just seein if a s14 one will fit. cheers guys

i dont think so.. because in Super Autobacs they had a heap of s14 zenki/kouki boss's but only a few s15 ones and told me i 'needed' a s15 one.. but i dont know, possibly it was due to airbag sensor...

ah k well the airbag sensor is a resistor and i can get them very cheap so instead of paying extra money for the s15 with airbag sensor(resistor) i could get a s14 and put a resistor in it. any one shed any light on this?

I am not sure but the spline may be different for the S14 and the S15, maybe you will need to confirm this as I know the shift knob thread pitch too is different for the six speeds.
