Hi all..

I looked in the usefull threads.. but I couldn`t find a boost controller installation guide?
Is there one?

There seems to be a some sorts of solenoid between the actuator and the hotpipe vacuum connection.
If anyone has a idea also where to place the Blitz solenoid.. please do tell :D

Greetz,
Hank

Thnx mate! do you by any change have any pics of that aera of your S15?

Do you think it`s a good idea to fit boosthose connection on the hotpipe instaed of using the old hose?
That one starts a LONG way from the actuator at the intake manifold.

This is where I mounted my Blitz solenoid. I simply bolted it to the inner fender.
It's located near the Apexi filter and the ABS reservoir.

Thnx for the pic mate!

What I was thinking is removing the long hose from the intake (red)
and making a new hose directly onto the hotpipe (yellow)

This way that hose will be much shorter, and the shorter the better! (at least that particular hose...)

Good idea?

I can't see why it should be a good idea. those Samco hoses are farking expensive, so any way to cut'em shorter is better :)
Don't know about any performance gains.

I read somewhere that stated that the shorter the hoses to the solenoid were, the better it was!

Also can I just disconnect that orginal solenoid? or is the ECU going to flip?

From what I've read it's the hose from the solenoid ro the actuator which is supposed to be as short as possible.
Not to short though as it would put the solenoid to close to the hot manifold.

Nicely. How did you do that thing with the boost nipple?
I don't understand

You cut a small hole in the Samco, insert the nipple from the inside of the hose (its got a wide flat base which sits inside). A nut and washer goes over the base of the nipple outside the hose.
