Auto window not working....

I just realised that my driver's side auto window function doesn't work partially...

It works when windows goes down but when it goes up...

Could it be the control unit on the door or....?? How can I check where is faulty?

Also is it possible to do auto window thing for passenger side by any tweak?

i don't know if it's the same problem, but my s14 did the same thing. i took the door panelling off and it turned that the gears were so dirty that the track would jump out of place. in my situation, i had to replace the entire unit because i had stripped the gears.

mine's the same dude - dont know if its common or not however i think mines just a loose wire as it works more than it dosnt.
