Apexi downpipe Jspec?

Morning all!

I'm looking at getting an Apexi decat and down pipe so I end up with a full Apexi system.

Here's the down pipe on FR Sport. What does it mean by J spec? I haven't seen that term used for an S15 before?

Would it be too obvious that J would be Japan?

year dont hope its the one in the pic as that's off a twin turbo GTR, this is it http://www.importpartspro.com/145n006.html

but it would be much cheaper and just as effective to get a 3" section made up from mild steel get it painted in heat paint and it wont sound tinny

Jase, I assumed it would mean Jap spec, but why would they need to state it. Down pipe fitment wouldn't be any different on an AUS Spec would it?

You're so JDM it hurts me. And no, the exhaust setup will be exactly the same no matter where it was sold (assuming its for an SR20DET of course, and not an SR20DE

The only Jspec I know of is jspec.se they have a few good demo cars.

They did have some highly tuned s14 that ran at gatebil last year and now they have a green s15 i do believe.
