Anyone help me with this strut brace?

Trying to figure out where this strut brace fits in the rear of the car I baught it replaced the oem strut in the boot but after looking at it again it doesn't?? Does it go across in front of the spare wheel well where I see more oem bracing where there is a step up onto where the fuel tank is?? Any info appreciated?? Thanks

Looks like a rear upper strut brace. It sits on top of the rear coilovers and goes over the rear parcel shelf.

That's my only thought to where it will go! Where did you get it from and can they not tel you?

Doesn't look right for an upper brace to me either tbh. Most have a way of getting to the top of the coilovers as a lot have the adjustment there.

Defo not an upper brace as above they have a big circle where the top of the coilovers stick through so you can adjust it . Bit stumped on that tbh unless it runs across the boot floor close to the back of the seats?

Must be a replacement for the standard Spec R boot brace?

I'd go for a boot brace of types if its actually for an s15!

Looking at welds I'd say someone has tried to make a rear strut brace and failed
