advantage of Electronic Boost control

Hi

i want to get some confirmation that fitting a electronic boost controller helps with turbo Lag and gives a much more stable boost?

if this was on a standard engine, will i see advantage?

am I right in thinking the Waste gate will stay closed fully until the Boost controller opens it at desire boost pressure? (user setup?)

hence i will see a quicker boost?

is this much better than a OEM setup?

I've recently installed a Gizzmo MS-IBC in my car and I've noticed that the car spools up faster and feels more responsive.

I'm running a stock turbo at 10psi, so nothing silly, but it definately feels a bit better. Most likely for the reasons you've already mentioned.

Electronic boost controller has the advantage of being able to set Gain which improves turbo response,but can increase detonation

electronic has all pro's (including what you're after) and one con... price, but it's well worth the money!
