Cold starting issues-ECU temp sensor?
My most recent S15 is really struggling to start when cold, and when it does fire, it sounds like an Impreza until it is warm. It has an unmapped powerfc so I fitted a stock ECU to see if it was that. Still the same. If it fires and you don't catch it, it'll die and not start again and reek of...- Mitch

idle after apexi power fc tune ....is it normal??? would love some feedback thanks
Hey guys just had my s15 tuned by a reputable tuner ......just a few changed i noticed 1. when i start up car in the morning or cold starts it idles high at around 1500rpm till water temp hit around 60degrees then it idles back to normal 900rpm ( i was told this is called accelerated warm up )...- maiky-s15r

... even though I do really like the S15, I simply cannot afford to get one, just simply the cost of the car. FS: Project Mu Type NS (Street) Brake pads
I have a set of front and rear pads unopened that i bought as spares. I have been using this type of pad on my car for around a year and find them very good, great cold bite but even better when warm. Looking for £125 Plus postage depending where they are to be sent. need to warm up engine?
I drive a 1997 180sx with a SR20 engine. When the weather is cold it takes me longer to take off and the car struggles for a couple of minutes after take off. On initall take off the car does not rev at all until about 10 seconds has past. I was under the impression that cars no longer needed...- baz88

Wooohooo no more vvt rattle
My car used to make the dreaded vvt rattle when it was started up from warm,it was fine when cold but on warm start ups it would rattle until I put it in gear and engaged the clutch it would then stop and not come back until the next warm start.Today I fitted this A brand new vvt solonoid...- Bry

Hey ppl. How long does your s15 take to warm up? Mine seems to warm up really quickly. Like... start car... drive (take it real easy) for about 4-5 kms doing roughly 60km/h and by the end of 5 kms or so... the temp gauge is right in the middle.
