Petrol RON 95 vs 100
Hope this is the right sub. I really want to know what is the difference in (ecu, tune) between 95 and let's say 100, is it just a bit of timing adjustment? I run 95 cause 100 is super hard to find here, I want to boost to 1.0-1.2 bar Can stock maps handle 95 @1bar? (With fmic, etc)- FreakensNL

Base timing
Hi guys, might be a silly question but i let the car warm up just now and connected a cable (ecutalk) to the consult port to check some statistics. Its displaying ignition timing as 15 BTDC but occasionally fluctuates to 13 BTDC. Is this correct? If it needs adjusted could i use the software to...- adz87kc

Ok, so i've been alerted that when i pulled out the crank sensor, that i'd probably have fiddled with it.. which i did. because i didnt know what it was, i'm only human after all. so now the reason my car isnt firing, is because the timing is out, so it seems. Strange Heavy Load hesitation
After a HG change, car wouldn't start, got her running (CAS was out), adjusted/corrected timing, Car now idles fine and will rev slowly/smoothly with no issue, small blips up to 3k are fine, but if opening the throttle harder/fast (only tried when stationary) the car almost cuts out before...- Topper

Ignition Timing for Spec S on Irish fuel.

Now I have finally driven the car after a complete rebuild. However it is acting up. From like 2krpm it feels like it should and starts to pull. Well yeh the title says it all really, my last cars were 2 Nissan Exa's with the CA18DE and another with the DET. engine timing??
did a search an couldnt find much on this...just wondering whats the ideal engine timing for the s15 spec s...?my mechanic reckons its 15 degrees but i read somewhere before that it should be 22degrees..im prob wrong,just wana check with peops in the know:thumbs: cheers in advance- s15andy.s
