What interests/hobbies do you have?

Very off-topic thread, but what hobbies and interests do you guys and girls have other than your cars?! For example, I know a few people are into photography so please post up your proudest images for us to see, but I'm sure theres plenty more too from around the world

Recently I've been getting into mountain biking but as with cars, it's a very expensive hobby. It's great fun (until you come off) especially as I live 30mins from a purpose built trail centre which never seems to get boring!

Heres some pics of my new bike. It's only a hardtail but copes with the trail centres just fine. Couldn't help upgrading the front brake to a 4-pot 180mm rotor too! :wack:

lol.. @ your fly by on the bike.. hope it wasn't exspenive. Nice bike though, I used to bike a lot when I was younger, won't mind getting back into it..

With two kids I don't get too much time to myself these days, plus I have to talk to the wife every now and again . I've always been a big gamer though, always had a PC or console, right from a BBC Acorn to my xbox 360 I have now. I try and get online most night for a gaming session. Apart from that I suppose I like to keep fit, so go to the gym in the lunch hour at work and play football twice a week, also like to get out for a game of golf when I can.

I like my bikes to. Got a Specialized Rockhopper for off road and a Scott S50 for road riding. Last year I started cycling with a club, used to get up every Sunday at 8am and cycle about 30-40 miles. Sadly I've just not had a lot of time for the bike this year.

Also into motor bikes, go gym, have a pet lizard, geek around with computers (it my profession) and have a model helicopter I enjoy flying.

film is my other great love - when i'm not working, trying to get our house finished or pissing about with the car i am going to the cinema or buying dvd's - meals and socialising take up a lot of our time but thats not exactly a hobby i guess..........luckily i've found a missus who enjoys films and cars as much as me

well during the week i have to get up for work obscenely early (4am starts 3 times a week) so its a bit of pc/xbox and early nights. at the weekend during the summer i play cricket for a local team. this year was my 23rd season playing for them! now the season has ended, weekends are taken up with car club outings and family time. so all in all, for me its just car related with a bit of family stuff thrown in

lol i spent 7 years blading but gave up for a few years now, tryed tome basic grinds on a spine a few months ago and falling now hurts

I won't bore everyone with my collection of glamour photography (it's not my porn archive - I shot the pics!! hehe)


Before the S15 took over my life (as well as two boys and a wife haha) I was well into hiking... used to compete in the local annual 'Longmynd Hike' which is 50 mile trek within 24 hour time limit non-stop!! :wack: But I used to travel to Snowdon and other parts of Wales just to get some fresh air...

I also use to go to a few gigs every year but now I save my time and pennies for my favourites... one of which is Paramore (seeing them for 3rd time in Nov @ LG Arena) :thumbs:

My main hobby up to about 6 months - a year ago was skating..spent sooo much on skates over the years :| do love it though! Been doing it for about 6 years..Sadly as people get older and spend there time doing other things we dont skate as much now.

My other interests are photography, I got myself a Canon EOS 500d in June and have since being learning the way...

TBH though mate skating has changed a lot! over the last few years...now days you are crap if you cant do top soul tornado top soul like lomax or if you dont dress in topshop jeans and new era caps...

Completly agree dude! i have gone from joggers to baggy now to skinny over the years the style has changed! and i can also do topsoul tornado topsoul lol its the 1st trick in one of the edits i put up lol!!

Completly agree that the best days were back in the early 2000's its spin to win these days like 720 to grinds etc!! crazy!

Darren - have you been to many trail centres on your bike yet? I'm off to one again this weekend but might start making a weekend of it soon and do a few of the Welsh centres.

No Ive never really put the mountain bike to good use.

Ive done a few down hills and woodland riding near me but nothing crazy, does appeal to me though.
