Hi guys,

After the recent bomb-burst of posts spread across the forum regarding this, I think there is enough interest to warrant making some replica Garage defend panels. I organised the GB on the last set of replicas that were sent over from America, luckily without any glitches.


Right, there are 3 options for the finish on these..


1. Fiberglass structure with a smooth fiberglass surface - £120 (ready to be painted whatever colour you like. Garage Defend also produce this style but I have never seen one fitted to a S15)

2. Fiberglass structure with a layer of Carbon Fiber on the surface - £140 (exactly the same as genuine Garage Defend ones are constructed)

3. Fiberglass structure with a layer of Carbon Kevar on the surface - £160 (same construction as CF but different finish)


All of the above can come untrimmed for £20 less. All holes remain fully marked for trimming.


Prices changed as of 01-06-12 due to increase in costs of production

I will make a frame of some form to protect them from damage in transit.

I just did a quick quote and it came back at £70 to Aus Does anyone know of a cheap international courier? I use parcel2go.com for my quotes. If you want to try to find one aswel the box dimensions will be roughly 130 x 30 x 15cm and around 4kg max

At that delivery price it would work out cheaper for you to buy one from here and have it delivered straight to you. Sorry mate.

Cool, if there is a couple of you in the US that want them i could send them both in one backage to half the shipping.

I think there is enough people in the GB to get the mould made now. I have ordered a genuine one from Japan to take the mould from. It should be here in the next week or so

The more people that are in, the cheaper they will be as the majority of the cost is in geting the mould made initially..

hmmm... shipping is very expensive. I may just end up doing my own in that case, unless someone knows a freight forwarder that can help.
